The duo filmed the movie A Warriors Heart in 2009, and while it boasts a modest PG rating, the movie which will finally be released on December 2 also boasts plenty of kissing scenes between Kellan and Ashley that will have Twi-Hards reeling. The film follows Conor Sullivan (Kellan Lutz), a hotheaded, high school lacrosse player, who is dating the coachs daughter, Brooklyn (Ashley Greene). However, Connors emotions spiral out of control when his father loses his life in Iraq, and its up to Conors family and friends to help steer him back on the right track. Kellan was attracted to the film because its not just another sports movie. Its not clich, where the kid wins the championship at the buzzer, Kellan said in an on set interview. Its a coming-of-age story about a boy and his journey to become a man. It was also a first for Kellan, who got to take on the role of the projects leading man. Ive never been number one on a call sheet, Kellan continued in the interview. Ive been 781326142[but] in this project, Im in every single scene. Im never in my trailer, which Im not used to!
