Do you need to watch older Bamtan films to get the newer ones?

Do you need to watch the older batman films to get some of the newer
ones (specifically batman begins)? I have seen the Dark knight and it
was brilliant and I fully understood it easily I prefer newer films
and was going to watch Batman Begins (i think thats the name , the
2005 one or so anyway) but do you need to watch previous films to 'get
it'? Or is it better to watch the 1st , 2nd one etc first?
