Who was Spicer Lovejoy? I know it was the guy who chased Rose and Jack
around and the one who arrested Jack, but was he really a cop? I
wonder if Spicer and Cal had a relationship. Homosexual relationships
were very frowned upon at that time, so it isn't weird that Cal wanted
to marry Rose to hide his real sexuality. Cal is a very young,
handsome man and I can easily see how Spicer could have desired him.
Could Spicer have paid money to sleep with Cal?
